The Regional Emerging Diseases Intervention (REDI) Center is a research and training organization founded by the Singapore and United States to enhance the region’s capability and capacity to deal with emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases such as avian influenza and SARS. REDI Center is chartered in Singapore as an Intergovernmental Organization.

HIV Program Monitoring and Data Analysis, 5-9 Sep 2011

As part of a series of regional training courses directed towards strengthening local disease surveillance capacity, the REDI Centre together with Family Health International/Prasit, organized a five-day trianing course on HIV specific training for health staff. Held in Siem Reap, the primary focus of this course was training on best practices for the utilization of both Excel and Stata in HIV program monitoring. 24 participants from around the region took part, including Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar and the Philippines.
