INFECTION CONTROL MODELLING ASSESSMENT IN NATIONAL PAEDIATRIC HOSPITAL, TAKEO PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL AND KIRIVONG DISTRICT HOSPITAL, CAMBODIA

- Objectives: to evaluate the perception of health care workers and to assess the support and resources available related to the 7 priority areas outlined in the National Infection Control Guidelines and to develop models able to predict the positive impact of interventions aiming to strengthen the infection control activities
- Outline: face to face interview of health care workers (doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff) in 3 hospitals (sample size # 700) scheduled in March. Data will be then analyzed using a Choice Modelling Technique and presented to the hospital team during the final restitution workshops scheduled in June and July 2012
- Status: ERB submission, pilot of the questionnaire and training of the interviewers
